Cycles

Most of us live life in cycles, ever turning

Ever repeating, leaving us reminiscing.

Progress, is it simply an illusion?

Does money, knowledge, higher numbers,

really mean anything?

Perhaps our belief is the only thing separating us,

from the cycles, why make a fuss?

Why try to escape, a nightmare so many are entrapped?

I think for the sake of our gods, my God.

Yes, God transcends our infinite oscillation,

God is new every morning,

God breaks the cycle.
