Fly

To leave or to stay, what’s the point anyway?
Education they say, opportunity I pray, but
Deep in my heart, it aches, it groans, but
I have to move on, God is waiting I guess, but
It’s gonna hurt, I’m gonna miss them, but
It’s time to expand y horizons, pick up, fly, but
It feels as though Mama bird is pushing me, and
I have to leave the nest, but
Maybe the nest will always be there, and
Once I have mastered the art of flight, I’ll return, but
Maybe just maybe I’ll be long forgotten, and
The nest would have all learnt to fly in their own way, but
Maybe;
Hopefully, I pray, we’ll all fly up to heaven, and
Meet again someday.

Edit(Zifus James):
Maybe one day, we’ll all fly together,
up to heaven one day.
