Purpose

Do you know God’s will for your life?

Are you confident that you are living a purposeful, intentional life?

Do you sometimes feel like you are just wandering in a never-ending abyss?

Take some time to truly think about these questions.
Many people die with regrets, after living a life where they simply did what their parents told them, got a job, worked as wage slaves, and then died an unaccomplished, unsatisfactory life. They see no true purpose in life and believe that they are only another speck of dust, out of the 7.7 billion other humans on the planet.

Without me saying a word more, I am guaranteed that I have convinced you.

There’s no way you want to live a life like this.

And whether you are five, or ninety-five, YOU, can find purpose in this life, and die with complete satisfaction and zero regrets.

Better yet, as Christians, we get our purpose from our source, Jesus Christ. And we can find our purpose in a few simple ways:

  1. Live a life which is pleasing to God.
  2. Surrender your life to God, and stop planning your own life.
  3. Discover your talents, gifts, and passions.
  4. Stop. Breathe. And observe your situation; God might be trying to show you something.
  5. Spend time talking to God.
  6. Spend time listening to God.

“God’s Will?”, a short poem by Jory James.

“How do I know God’s will?”, I ask,
Longing for an answer, lacking it I bask,
In the light of a world where purpose is hard to find,
I wander aimlessly, like a deaf man, who’s blind.
Each day I pray, I long, I say, with conviction;
“I must find it, I must find this will.”
Searching frantically, I stumble on this,
A truth so right, and pure, and simple; its bliss…
To know God’s will, you must know him; yes,
And to know Him, your life must be His.

Have a blessed day!
